MD Productions uses creativity a tool to engage and address issues that young people may face from health & wellbeing to cyber bullying. A range of workshops and bespoke programs are available for schools, colleges and community centres in the following areas covering curriculum topics in:
- Confidence building
- Equality and diversity
- Performance skills
MD Productions can run an adapted programme designed entirely to suit the needs of the pupils and teachers. We can tailor a programme and accredit the work through Arts Award, a recognised qualification.
Students participate in group work and discussion exploring how the expression of dance & all forms of creativity can address emotions, raise awareness and empower young people. The sessions aim to improving personal development, build confidence and self-esteem. Students will have the opportunity to work direct with Choreographer Miguel Doforo to produce a piece that has been developed from their ideas and workshops ready for a performance.
MD is registered to deliver Arts Award (Bronze & Silver) a nationally recognised qualification.
Quote from Weatherhead School for Anti-Bullying Week:
A massive thank-you to you, Miguel, Luke, Lauren, Reme, Zoe and Megan for an INSPIRATIONAL day with our students yesterday! The engagement of our students and the performances they produced was a result of the MD production team and their energy!
Yesterday was a fantastic way to educate our students surrounding the topics of anti-bullying and all students worked so well together and that was testament to MD productions.
Our students thoroughly enjoyed their sessions with you and I look forward to working with you in the future”.
